We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. Responsibilities Design, build, operate, and continuously improve secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure on AWS. Manage production and non-production environments supporting SaaS products, APIs, microservices, and integration services. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated deployments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform. Manage containerized applications using Docker and platforms such as Amazon ECS, Kubernetes, or Amazon EKS. Operate and optimize relevant AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront, SQS/SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway. Implement monitoring, centralized logging, tracing, and alerting solutions to maintain system availability and performance. Define and track operational metrics, service health indicators, and system reliability standards. Improve the resilience of distributed systems through autoscaling, health checks, retry mechanisms, rollback strategies, and failure recovery procedures. Establish and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Manage IAM policies, secrets, network security, access controls, and environment isolation according to cloud security best practices. Monitor infrastructure usage and implement cost optimization initiatives without compromising security, performance, or availability. Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and proactively improve system performance and scalability. Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and product teams to improve software delivery and operational processes. Support production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services. Experience operating production-grade SaaS platforms, APIs, microservices, or distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and modern deployment workflows. Experience with Docker and container orchestration or managed container platforms such as Amazon ECS, Kubernetes, or Amazon EKS. Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting. Proficiency in Bash, Python, or a similar scripting language. Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers, DNS, and CDN configurations. Operational experience with relational databases, caching systems, and message queues. Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar solutions. Experience managing source control and CI/CD workflows through GitHub, GitLab, or similar platforms. Good understanding of IAM, secrets management, infrastructure security, and the principle of least privilege. Understanding of high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and zero-downtime deployment strategies. Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis skills. Strong sense of ownership and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Nice to Have Experience supporting .NET-based microservices and API architectures. Experience with AWS Secrets Manager, Systems Manager Parameter Store, or HashiCorp Vault. Experience with e-commerce, ERP, marketplace, logistics, or high-volume integration systems. Experience with database performance, capacity planning, or infrastructure-level query monitoring. Familiarity with security, compliance, vulnerability management, and audit requirements. Experience implementing FinOps or structured AWS cost-management practices. What We Expect This role has direct responsibility for the reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency of our infrastructure. We are looking for someone who does more than maintain existing systems—someone who identifies risks early, improves engineering processes, automates repetitive work, and takes ownership of production reliability. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with business-critical systems and participating in incident response when urgent production issues occur.
