ABOUT JUULI Juuli is an AI-native fintech platform built exclusively for Europe's 43M+ solopreneurs. We bring payments, cards, FX, invoicing and tax automation into one place, with 90-second onboarding and AI at the core of the product. We are a lean team of ~15 across London and Tallinn, and every designer here shapes the product directly. THE ROLE You will own the end-to-end design of Juuli's product experience, from the first onboarding screen to complex money flows. You will work side by side with engineers, turning API capabilities and regulatory constraints into interfaces that solopreneurs trust and enjoy using. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design and ship flows for onboarding and KYC, payments, cards, invoicing and tax Build and maintain our Figma design system (components, variables, auto layout) Read API documentation to understand what the product can and cannot do, and design around real behavior: async states, errors, edge cases Debate interaction decisions with engineers, bring your reasoning, and land on the best solution together Design AI-assisted experiences that feel clear and trustworthy Iterate quickly based on user feedback and real usage data Design for multiple countries and languages WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Expert-level Figma skills: auto layout, components, variables, prototyping, Dev Mode. Figma is your daily tool Professional fintech experience (payments, cards, onboarding/KYC, accounting or similar) Comfort reading API documentation (REST/OpenAPI) and translating it into design decisions The ability to discuss interaction design with engineers as a peer: you explain your "why" and you listen to technical constraints 3+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that includes fintech work A strong grasp of trust, security and compliance-aware UX patterns Clear communication in English NICE TO HAVE Experience with multi-country, multi-language products Experience designing AI-powered product features Accessibility (WCAG) knowledge Basic front-end understanding (HTML/CSS)
