We're an AI app studio that places the latest text, image, video, and audio models at the core of our products; product, technology, growth, and monetization are developed entirely in-house. We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to own the quality side of our growing development team, build our test strategy, and take automation to the next level. This isn't just a "find the bugs" role: We're looking for someone who will secure quality through process, automation, and the right instrumentation in a team that ships a product every sprint. An instinct for automation matters to us — someone who enjoys automating tests and asks, "are we really going to run this check by hand every release?" What you'll do, Analyze requirements for new and existing projects; build the test strategy and test plans Design, develop, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests Write test scenarios and scripts against acceptance criteria Own automation: turn repetitive checks into automated ones, and build and grow a sustainable automation suite that keeps up with a fast Agile delivery pace Define, improve, and spread QA best practices across the team; own our quality standards Test the quality of AI outputs: establish acceptance criteria and verification methods for non-deterministic outputs, and catch hallucination, content safety, and edge-case scenarios Test subscription and purchase flows end-to-end: paywall variants, IAP, restore, cancellation/renewal, credit and usage-limit scenarios (RevenueCat, Adapty, Web2Wave) Verify event and funnel accuracy: make sure events fire correctly, completely, and with the expected payload across Amplitude, Firebase, and AppsFlyer — we don't ship a feature whose measurement hasn't been verified Act as the quality gate in the release process: distribution through Firebase App Distribution, Remote Config and feature flag scenarios, stability tracking via Crashlytics, and pre-submission checks for the stores Work in daily contact with the product and engineering teams; manage bugs and prioritization in Linear and take an active part in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, review) Track and share quality metrics with the team: crash-free rate, regression escapes, and the stage at which critical bugs are caught Mentor junior QA engineers and raise the testing maturity of the team What we're looking for 4+ years of software testing experience (maturity and capability matter more than an exact year count) Strong experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases End-to-end testing experience on mobile applications (iOS and Android) The ability to build and maintain automated tests within a fast-moving Agile team Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar) Efficiency in effort estimation, planning, prioritization, and time management Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to operate at a pace that delivers every sprint A fast learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good level of English What would excite us Experience at a mobile app studio or product company Testing experience on consumer AI products or LLM-based features Experience on large-scale, high-download, "winner" products Experience with Firebase products (Remote Config, Crashlytics, App Distribution, BigQuery) Experience with in-app purchase flows on mobile and tools like RevenueCat, Adapty, or Web2Wave Familiarity with mobile analytics and engagement platforms (AppsFlyer, Amplitude, OneSignal) Experience with localization and internationalization testing Testing experience on the web side (web2app funnels and paywall flows) ISTQB or an equivalent software testing certification Active use of AI-assisted development and testing tools What describes you A detail hunter — you catch what others miss and ask "why is it like this?"
