About the Role We're looking for a Senior Android Developer to build and own key user-facing experiences on our e-commerce app. From product discovery to checkout, you'll craft fast, reliable mobile journeys using modern Android tooling, while working closely with product and backend teams. Responsibilities Contribute to mobile application architecture and develop in line with established technical standards Effectively use AI-assisted coding tools as part of daily development workflows Develop mobile application features end-to-end and own them in production Build integration with backend services and secure authentication flows Develop critical e-commerce user journeys from product discovery through checkout Integrate push notifications and user behavior analytics into the app Optimize performance for a smooth, low-latency user experience Work closely with product and other teams to turn requirements into technical solutions Actively participate in code reviews, upholding quality and maintainability standards Build a testable codebase and ensure smooth release and versioning processes Qualifications 5+ years of mobile application development experience Experience with modern Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as part of daily development workflows Experience developing applications with architectural patterns such as MVVM / MVI Experience with multi-module architecture and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger) Experience with REST API integration, JWT-based authentication, and asynchronous programming (Coroutines / Flow) Experience with local data storage, caching, and in-app data management Experience with push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting using Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics) or similar tools Experience with app performance, memory management, and profiling Strong command of test automation (unit/UI), Git, and CI/CD practices Experience with Play Store release and version management Willingness to take ownership in a fast-moving environment, with a fast-learning approach to adopting new tools Experience integrating payment and third-party service SDKs Experience with cross-platform code sharing using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Experience building multi-platform UIs with Compose Multiplatform
