Job Description : • Responsible for the technical and administrative management of the interior trim design team. • Managing all interior trim design processes from concept design to mass production in vehicle development projects. • Actively participating in new product design processes for interior trim and driver's area. • Conducting benchmark and feasibility studies for interior trim and driver's area parts. • Ensuring the development of interior trim and driver's area parts in accordance with cost, quality, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and serviceability criteria. • Working in coordination with production, purchasing, quality, platform, and testing teams in product development processes. • Managing supplier technical management, leading design verification and product commissioning activities. • Contributing to the creation of technical standards and processes, the development of product families, and the dissemination of the modular design approach. • Checking 3D-2D technical documentation. • Controlling publication processes, option management, product tree definitions and updates. • Implementing quality improvement and cost reduction efforts. • Ensuring and managing technical communication with suppliers and codesign companies, identifying the right person for the team. • Monitoring and implementing new technologies. • Supporting the team's technical development, creating work plans, and ensuring project objectives are completed on time. Qualifications : • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar Engineering departments of universities. • At least 8 years of product design experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, bus, rail systems or similar sectors, • At least 3 years of team management or technical leadership experience, • Knowledge of plastic, sheet metal, composite and aluminum part design, • Experienced in trim systems, connection methods, tolerance management and production technologies, • Preferably proficient in CATIA V5 / V6 software, • Proficient in MS Office programs. • Preferably proficient in SAP, • Proficient in technical drawing, GD&T and product development processes, • Experienced in problem solving and root cause analysis, • Good command of English, • Team player, strong communication and results-oriented skills, • Strategic thinking and qualified decision-making skills, • Living in or willing to live in Adana.
