Your Role: Our technology organization is building and scaling AI-powered platforms while developing reliable, scalable and high-performance backend systems. We’re looking for a Python Developer that will; Design and develop backend services and REST APIs with Python and FastAPI, Design data models and manage schema changes using PostgreSQL, Build distributed concurrency and queue mechanisms with Redis, Develop event-driven integrations using Kafka or RabbitMQ, Develop and manage services running on Kubernetes, Design and implement state machines and distributed system components, Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests, Document technical decisions and system designs. Your Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Python and asyncio, Production experience with FastAPI or a similar asynchronous API framework, Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including data modeling, indexing, transactions and isolation levels, Experience with Redis for distributed coordination, including streams, pub/sub and distributed locks, Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ and event-driven integration patterns such as outbox and idempotent consumers, Experience developing services on Kubernetes, including pod lifecycle, probes, graceful shutdown and kubectl, Experience with layered architecture, strongly typed code and static type checking, Strong testing practices, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing and asynchronous test practices. Nice to Have: Experience with WebSocket-based real-time communication and protocol design, Experience modeling entity lifecycles using state machines, Experience developing MCP servers or clients, Familiarity with LangGraph / LangChain, Experience with OAuth2 / OIDC-based authorization and secret management, Experience with agent-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
