Put together a short deck / one-pager for your Top 5 startup picks based on the criteria below: ✅ Team has at least one Turkish co-founder ✅ Company operates in the Applied AI / Vertical AI space ✅ Has more than 10 employees ✅ Raised at least one venture funding round in the past For each startup, explain why you would invest: Team strength and founder-market fit Market opportunity Traction signals (revenue is not required; alternative signals are also appreciated incl. social growth, hiring, commercial news, customer feedback, website signals, etc.) Role Overview: As a Venture Capital Associate, you will play a key role across the full investment lifecycle, including: Deal sourcing and founder outreach Market mapping and sector research Investment evaluation and financial analysis Due diligence and investment execution You will work directly with the head of investments and gain significant exposure to founders, co-investors, and strategic operators across the startup ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Investment Analysis & Execution Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business model evaluations Analyze startup KPIs including revenue growth, LTV/CAC, retention, runway, and unit economics Prepare investment memos, IC materials, and financial models Support due diligence processes including commercial, product, technical, and financial assessments Coordinate with founders, legal counsel, and co-investors during transaction execution AI Tool Support Leverage our proprietary AI agent to automate and execute both recurring and ad hoc investment workflows, while continuously improving its performance through feedback and refinement (e.g., deal sourcing, market scouting, portfolio monitoring, and watchlist intelligence) Expected Qualifications Required Experience 3–5 years of experience in venture capital, tech-driven startups (e.g. chief of staff, product, data or growth teams), or strategy consulting roles with a tech focus Strong understanding of startup ecosystems, venture financing structures, and technology business models Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing investment opportunities Has an engineering degree from a top university Personality & Communication Highly outgoing, proactive, and relationship-oriented personality Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly Comfortable engaging with founders, executives, investors, and technical operators Analytical & Technical Capabilities Strong analytical skills (bottom-up and top-down approach) Ability to independently conduct market analysis, financial modeling, and investment research High proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, and research workflows AI & Technology Fluency Frequent and effective user of AI/LLM tools in daily / periodic workflows Strong understanding of emerging AI trends and the broader technology landscape Coding or technical background (Python, SQL, APIs, automation tools, or software development exposure is a plus )
