Solution Consultant The Solution Consultant (SC ) is responsible for finding the right solution. They must understand and follow delivery methodology, tools and activities, and form a vision to meet the needs of customers. They’re responsible for gathering clear customer requirements within the project scope, and act as a sparring partner to the customer on all their manufacturing operations challenges. By documenting the conceptual, logical and technical architecture for the project, the BC implements and helps test cutting edge industry solutions for challenging customer problems Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Management Engineering (preferred) or a related engineering field Experience for process analysis, solution design, development and implementation in manufacturing operations Good verbal and written communication skills in the English and local language – the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of software/product development processes (requirements, design, testing, deployment) Knowledge on database handling such as MS-SQL (preferred) and Oracle Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision Ability to travel 30-60% during projects phases Qualifications Conceptual knowledge of MES Strong customer orientation, with the ability to gather and clarify requirements and lead product acceptance (UAT) Ability to contribute to solution design together with the Solution Architect Ability to support the development team in correctly understanding and implementing requirements General knowledge of manufacturing systems and shop-floor operations Experience working with enterprise software (ERP, MES, etc.)
