Roles & Responsibilities Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve robust, scalable, and sustainable test automation solutions and frameworks. Take ownership of test automation architecture and contribute to technical decision-making processes. Design and implement end-to-end test automation strategies aligned with product, development, and business needs. Ensure seamless integration of test automation solutions into the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipelines, reporting, monitoring, and defect tracking processes. Build, customize, deploy, and manage test environments and automation frameworks. Lead the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies. Actively contribute to and/or take part in R&D projects, research-oriented initiatives, and innovation activities related to software testing, test automation, quality engineering, and emerging technologies. Advocate for software quality, maintainability, reliability, and testability across teams and projects. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to other Test Automation Engineers. Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, product, and other stakeholders to establish and improve quality engineering practices. Identify technical risks and improvement opportunities and proactively propose solutions. Be a visible, representative, communicative, and influential advocate for quality, challenging teams when necessary to improve software quality standards. Qualifications Graduated from Programming, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines. At least 4–5 years of experience in software development, software testing, and/or test automation development. Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks and solutions. Experience working in R&D projects, innovation projects, research-oriented initiatives, or projects involving the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies is highly preferred. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation tools and technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Puppeteer, CodeceptJS, Appium, or similar. Strong programming skills in at least one high-level programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#. Experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation architectures. Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, and DevOps practices. Strong experience with CI/CD automation solutions such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools. Good understanding of database concepts and experience with technologies such as Oracle, SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles. Experience with API testing, service-level testing, and end-to-end testing methodologies. Ability to research, evaluate, and adapt new technologies and tools to different project needs. Ability to take technical ownership and work independently when required. Experience in mentoring or supporting junior team members is preferred. What’s in it for you?
