Senior Semiconductor Product & Test Engineer - CP/FT İş İlanı

An expanding semiconductor business is looking for a Senior Semiconductor Product & Test Engineer to take new silicon from initial laboratory evaluation through to production release. This hands-on role has a strong focus on semiconductor debugging, Chip Probing (CP), Final Test (FT), and post-silicon validation. You will investigate device behaviour, isolate the causes of silicon failures, and help develop robust test solutions for production. Working alongside chip design and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute from tape-out through validation, qualification, and mass production. Your responsibilities Plan post-silicon validation activities based on device specifications and design requirements. Develop practical validation strategies, test plans, and laboratory test environments. Carry out functional and performance testing using evaluation boards and automated test software. Debug semiconductor devices at silicon, board, hardware, and software levels. Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and work with design engineers to resolve device issues. Support the development and improvement of Chip Probing (CP) and Final Test (FT) solutions. Contribute to reliability testing and production-release readiness. Design evaluation boards and supporting hardware for mixed-signal, analogue, or RF devices. Create automation and test applications using Python, LabVIEW, or C. Provide design-for-testability input throughout the chip development lifecycle. Document test methods, results, technical findings, and release conclusions clearly. Develop and maintain product documentation, including semiconductor datasheets. Support field applications, customer engineering, and product-definition activities when required. Coordinate technical work from tape-out to mass-production release. Your experience A Master’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience. Strong experience in post-silicon testing and semiconductor debugging. A solid understanding of digital and general analogue electronic circuits. Practical PCB design experience, ideally involving mixed-signal or RF circuitry. Programming experience with at least one of Python, LabVIEW, or C. Confidence using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and multimeters. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to technical fault-finding. The ability to produce clear validation plans, test reports, and engineering documentation. Good English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical teams. A customer-aware approach supported by effective listening and communication.
