Position Overview: As a Senior QA Tester / Test Manager, you will lead the QA strategy and execution for our full-stack web applications, covering front-end (React), back-end (Node.js), and AWS cloud services. This role will oversee all testing activities, manage defect tracking, mentor junior QA team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate combines hands-on testing expertise with leadership and strategic planning skills. Key Job Functions: Lead QA planning, design, and execution across front-end (React), back-end (Node.js), and cloud services (AWS). Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. Implement and manage Azure DevOps Test Plans for test case creation, organization, execution, and reporting across all projects. Manage the full defect lifecycle: logging, prioritization, tracking, and verification with development teams. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process and quality improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including enterprise/SAP applications, to ensure smooth integration and performance. Facilitate communication between QA, development, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and manage risks. Support UAT cycles and perform post-deployment verification to ensure release quality. Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency. Mentor junior QA team members and ensure adherence to QA processes and standards. Qualifications: Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of QA/testing experience with enterprise or large-scale applications. Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, QA best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and databases. Demonstrated expertise in leveraging Azure DevOps for Test Management, including building test plans, traceability, and managing the defect lifecycle. Hands-on experience with API performance testing and cloud-based testing (AWS/Azure), including integration into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency with specialized API performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Loudium, or LoadRunner. Hands on experience with end-to-end testing on isolated databases, including DynamoDB/MongoDB and AWS RDS/PostgreSQL. Proficient with QA tools such as Playwright Workspaces, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, or equivalent. Ability to monitor and report QA metrics and progress within Azure DevOps, providing clear insights to stakeholders. Experience mentoring or leading QA/test teams.
