Responsibilities Taking an active role in the design and implementation of customer network and security infrastructures Researching, designing and defining secure, scalable and optimal network and security architectures in line with business and operational needs Install, configure, test and troubleshoot network and security devices like routers, switches, NGFWs, IPS, Proxies etc. in order to deliver high quality services to customers Managing and maintaining the company and customer network and security infrastructures Providing high quality support for network and security related issues and requests coming from customers Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced party. Work with the vendors when required Sharing information within the company and customers by following the literature on the products and the announcements of the vendors Preparing architectural documentation, design guidelines and configuration standards Preparing High-Level Design (HLD) documents that define the strategic architecture of network topologies Managing end-to-end Low-Level Design (LLD) processes, including device configuration details, port planning and IP addressing schemes Qualifications Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, information systems, or related fields Minimum 8 years of experience as a Network and Security Engineer, preferably worked in customer facing organizations Technical knowledge and experience in implementing new network and security architectures and optimizing the current infrastructures including facilities, datacenters, offices and buildings Technical knowledge and experience in architectural planning and implementation of multi-site network infrastructures Ability to produce HLD and LLD documentation and manage design processes end-to-end Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and security concepts in an inter-networking environment Deep knowledge in LAN / WAN technologies (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, etc.) Knowledge and experience in one of well-known SD-WAN and SASE solution like Versa, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc Experience of managing NGFW, VPN, Proxy, IPS / IDS, WAF, load balancers in hybrid structures Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and solid problem-solving skills with proactive approach Experience on Network Performance and Security Monitoring tools Experience on Linux operating system with basic level Soft Skills Very good in customer communication, self-confident to manage crisis situations Experienced in project follow-up and prone to teamwork Willing to create high quality documentation for customers and the company Very good command of English both written and spoken Military service should be completed for male candidates (For Turkish Citizen only) No restrictions for travelling both inside Turkey and abroad temporarily Preferred Certifications CCNP or similar level vendor certificates, CCIE is preferred Fortinet NSE6 or higher Azure and AWS Networking Certificates are desirable Versa Networks SD-WAN Certificates are highly desirable Nice to Have Experience with Fortinet products including FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and Fortigate NGFW models Knowledge and experience in cloud networking (Azure, AWS or Google) is highly desirable Experience with IXP colocation, cross connect services is a plus Experience with DLP, web and email security, endpoint security, cyber security products is a plus Experience in scripting/automation for network services is a plus
