Job Description Senior Software Engineers develop advanced components and systems to be able to handle upcoming challenges of digitalization and autonomy in automotive. They focus on developing enterprise desktop and web-based engineering software and tools. Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following: Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions Requirements engineering/management Involve in R&D activities Profile Description Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering / Informatics, and preferably MSc and/or PhD qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in software development Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English Fast learner; treats change as an opportunity to learn and develop Eager to learn state of the art technologies and techniques to come up with elegant solutions to the problems Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and proceed with objectives without supervision Willingness to frequent and long-term travel abroad Become a member of a team working on multi-national projects Solid hands-on experience and a strong understanding of the following technologies and tools: Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript Build & CI/CD Tools: Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitHub IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse Version Control & Code Quality: Git, SonarQube Automotive Standards & Domain Tools: ODX, OTX We Offer ABOUT AVL RESEARCH AND ENGINEERING TURKIYE Established in 2008, AVL Research and Engineering is an engineering center of AVL with two R&D centers in Istanbul-Türkiye that develops mobility solutions with intelligent and advanced technologies, runs national and international R&D projects and serves customers from the Turkish and the global automotive industry.
