Would you like to expand beyond a purely technical development role and build a career as a consultant specializing in SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) ? We are looking for senior ABAP developers whom we can train and develop into SAP TRM consultants. This opportunity is specifically designed for technically strong professionals who already possess an academic foundation in finance and are interested in combining their development expertise with taxation, accounting, business-process analysis, functional solutioning, and client-facing consultancy. Previous SAP TRM or PSCD consulting experience is not required. This is not a junior or graduate training position. Candidates must already have substantial professional SAP ABAP development experience and be ready to progress toward a hybrid technical-functional and, ultimately, client-facing consulting role. About the Development Path The selected candidate will follow a structured transition path: • Develop domain knowledge in SAP Tax and Revenue Management, PSCD, taxation, accounting, tax declarations, and Tax Authority processes • Learn how business requirements are analyzed and translated into SAP TRM solutions • Apply existing ABAP expertise within SAP TRM and PSCD implementations • Participate in supervised functional analysis, workshops, demonstrations, testing, and solution design • Gradually assume techno-functional and client-facing responsibilities • Progress toward independently delivering SAP TRM solutions as a consultant The successful candidate will initially contribute primarily through their technical expertise while receiving training and mentoring in SAP TRM, PSCD, taxation, accounting, functional consulting, and customer engagement. Responsibilities • Participate in a structured SAP TRM and PSCD training and development program • Develop a strong understanding of Tax Authority business processes, taxation, accounting, and corporate tax declarations • Undertake SAP ABAP development responsibilities within SAP TRM, PSCD, and SAP S/4HANA environments • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into reliable, maintainable technical solutions • Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and customer teams • Understand customer business processes and business challenges while applying SAP standard processes wherever possible • Support the design, development, testing, debugging, optimization, and deployment of SAP solutions • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, development documentation, unit-test documentation, and other project deliverables • Support functional consultants in identifying gaps between customer requirements, SAP standard functionality, and planned project scope • Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, meetings, and solution-review discussions • Gradually develop the ability to lead or support customer workshops • Support the preparation of demos, mock-ups, and proofs of concept to visualize business processes and proposed solutions • Contribute to the preparation of project plans, deliverable specifications, scope definitions, and effort estimations • Provide technical and solution effort estimations for change requests • Support integration activities involving SAP and external systems • Contribute to data migration, interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, workflows, and other development requirements • Participate throughout the complete project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, roll-out, and post-go-live support • Identify technical and functional risks and contribute to the definition of appropriate mitigation actions • Provide regular progress updates to project managers, functional consultants, and other project stakeholders • Proactively communicate potential project delays, technical limitations, knowledge gaps, and delivery risks • Recommend technical and business-process improvements where applicable • Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback and recommendations into assigned deliverables • Actively participate in SAP TRM practice activities and internal knowledge-sharing sessions • Support the design and development of new SAP TRM solutions to expand the product and service catalogue • Coach and mentor junior developers as appropriate • Maintain the ethics and culture code of InvenioLSI during all interactions with internal and external stakeholders • Place the smooth and successful delivery of the project among the highest priorities Required Qualifications and Experience • At least 5 years of professional SAP ABAP development experience • A completed master’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, Banking and Finance, or a closely related finance discipline • Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects and object-oriented development principles • Strong experience in debugging, performance analysis, code optimization, and technical problem-solving • Professional experience with core SAP development technologies such as ABAP Dictionary, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and APIs • Experience developing solutions in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical designs • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • A genuine interest in taxation, accounting, financial processes, and SAP Tax and Revenue Management • Willingness to develop from a technical specialist into a techno-functional and client-facing consultant • Ability and willingness to learn SAP TRM and PSCD in depth • Ability to communicate confidently with functional consultants, project managers, customers, and technical teams • Strong verbal, listening, written, and presentation skills in English • Ability to work both as an individual contributor and as part of a multidisciplinary project team • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned deliverables • Ability to work in international and multicultural project environments • Willingness and ability to relocate to the country where the project will be delivered Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP S/4HANA development technologies such as CDS Views, AMDP, OData, RAP, or SAP Fiori integration • Previous exposure to SAP FI/CO, PSCD, Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, public-sector revenue management, taxation, accounting, or financial systems • Experience with integration between SAP and third-party systems • Experience working directly with customers or participating in business workshops • Exposure to implementation methodologies such as SAP Activate, ASAP, Waterfall, or Scrum • Experience preparing technical estimates and evaluating change requests • Previous team-lead, mentoring, or technical-lead experience •
