R&D Senior Researcher - Packaging İş İlanı

Qualifications: MSc or PhD in Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related disciplines 5–8 years of R&D experience in packaging, plastics, FMCG, or chemical industries Strong expertise in primary and secondary FMCG packaging systems including plastics, films, rigid packaging, closures, labeling, paperboard, and corrugated materials Proven ability to independently lead packaging development projects Deep understanding of packaging performance, material behavior, and manufacturing processes Knowledge of packaging design and logistics optimization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Cape Pack) along with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) is perefered Experience in packaging sustainability, recyclability, and environmental regulations Experience in interpreting data from advanced packaging analysis instruments (e.g., DSC, TGA, Oxygen Permeability) Effective cross-functional collaboration skills Good command of English (written and spoken) For male candidates: military service completed Responsibilities: Lead packaging development projects for home care and fabric care products Design and evaluate packaging systems including bottles, closures, films, and components Optimize packaging for functionality, cost, manufacturability, and sustainability Lead packaging compatibility, stability, and transport performance evaluations Statistically analyze packaging performance data to develop sustainable and cost-effective material alternatives Support industrial scale-up and implementation with production and filling lines Evaluate and introduce new packaging materials and technologies Collaborate with suppliers to develop innovative packaging solutions Provide technical guidance to junior packaging researchers Collaborate with Product R&D, Regulatory, Production, Procurement, and Marketing teams Contribute to packaging innovation and sustainability programs Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and reports R&D at Beyaz Kağıt: One of Türkiye’s leading home and hygiene product manufacturers Strong expertise in surfactants, formulations, and packaging systems Advanced industrial R&D and packaging testing capabilities Active university–industry collaboration and innovation programs Technology-driven and knowledge-sharing R&D culture
