This is the job We are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator to join a skilled infrastructure team responsible for the stability, security, and performance of Linux-based systems across physical and virtual environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams, acting as a key technical resource for system optimization, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements. This is a hands-on role where you will have direct ownership of critical systems that power our business operations. This is you You are an experienced Intermediate Linux Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise-level experience in managing Linux/Unix environments. You have a deep mastery of Linux operating systems, including kernel tuning, file system management (LVM, RAID), and advanced command-line proficiency. You possess solid networking fundamentals, with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations. You are proficient in automating routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, lvm, or Perl. You have hands-on experience with Puppet as a configuration management tool — which is mandatory for this role. You are proactive about system health, security, and performance, and you thrive in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. You take ownership of system stability and security, and you enjoy working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement. Nice to have skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE , or GCP Professional Cloud Architect This is your role You are an experienced Intermediate Linux Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise-level experience in managing Linux/Unix environments. Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix-based servers in both physical and virtual environments, ensuring system stability, reliability, and optimal performance. Monitor system health (CPU, memory, storage, network usage) and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement and maintain security hardening standards, manage user access and permissions, and ensure timely patching and vulnerability remediation.
