About the Company At Orema Yazılım A.Ş., we are looking for a Mobile Team Lead to head the mobile team of our Kipkip project. Kipkip has completed its R&D phase and is now being productized. The person who joins us will set the technical direction of our mobile work, from the architecture of the iOS and Android apps to how the team is built. About the Role Mobile Team Lead (iOS / Android) We are looking for a Mobile Team Lead to head the mobile team of our Kipkip project, set the technical direction of our mobile work, and lead the architecture of the iOS and Android apps as well as how the team is built. Responsibilities Lead the mobile team, plan its growth and take an active role in hiring Design the architecture of the iOS and Android apps, and make and own technical decisions Stay hands-on with code and guide the team on critical technical matters Set up code review, testing, CI/CD and release management processes, and manage App Store and Google Play releases Work closely with the backend, DevOps and security teams, and bring a technical perspective to product decisions Support the technical growth of team members, mentor them and shape the team culture Qualifications Turkish citizenship At least 8 years of mobile application development experience, including at least 2 years as a technical lead or team lead A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field Required Skills Hands-on production experience with both React Native and native development (iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin) The ability to build native modules when needed during React Native development and wrap them for use in React Native (e.g., native modules and native UI components) Enough familiarity with the other native platform to make architectural decisions across iOS and Android A track record of shipping apps that are live on the App Store and Google Play with active users Experience with modular architecture, dependency management, offline operation and performance optimization Solid knowledge of mobile security (Keychain, Android Keystore, certificate pinning, OWASP MASVS) Experience with automated testing and CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise or similar) Strong communication and decision-making skills Good command of English for reading and writing technical documentation Preferred Skills Previous experience developing a super app Experience with React Native's New Architecture (TurboModules, Fabric, JSI, Codegen) Integrating libraries written in Rust or C++ into mobile apps (FFI, JNI, JSI) Memory and performance optimization on devices with limited hardware resources Building native modules that work with device hardware such as the camera, Bluetooth and sensors Ownership of an app that has passed a security audit (penetration testing) Taking a product from idea to launch, or building a new team from the ground up Why Orema?
