We are looking for a talented, self-driven Junior Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of our products. Your Responsibilities As part of our engineering team, your responsibilities will include: Taking part in all stages of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and performance analysis. Contributing to high software quality through thoughtful code reviews, knowledge sharing, and the continuous improvement of development practices and coding standards. Developing and maintaining embedded software, including applications, device drivers, communication stacks, board support packages (BSPs), real-time operating systems (RTOS), and bare-metal software. Designing and developing test, development, configuration, and user interfaces for embedded systems. Working closely with our multidisciplinary engineering team and contributing throughout the entire product development process, from initial concept to product delivery. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation as required. Taking ownership of assigned tasks and proactively contributing to technical discussions, problem solving, and continuous improvement. Communicating ideas and technical opinions openly and constructively while contributing to a collaborative engineering environment focused on high-quality results. Being available for occasional off-site assignments, field work, or business travel, expected to account for 10% of the working time. Qualifications BSc or MSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. Proficiency in embedded software development using C and/or C++. Strong understanding of fundamental embedded software concepts, including interrupts, memory-mapped I/O, timers, concurrency, memory management, and hardware/software interaction. Solid understanding of core RTOS concepts and principles, including tasks, scheduling, synchronization, inter-task communication, and timing considerations. Familiarity with common hardware communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART, as well as common microcontroller peripherals. Experience with at least one version control system, preferably Git. A structured, detail-oriented, disciplined, and enthusiastic approach to engineering work. Ability and willingness to learn independently, investigate technical problems, and take ownership of assigned work.
