About Our Partner & The Role On behalf of our esteemed business partner, operating in the banking industry as a supervisory institution, we are seeking strategic IT professionals to join their core internal team. Driven by "High Availability" and zero-compromise data security principles, you will be an integral part of the institution, managing its critical technology infrastructure, network architecture, and database systems from end to end. Key Responsibilities System & Virtualization Management: Manage server virtualization processes directly within the institution's VMware infrastructure. Execute the installation, maintenance, patching, and version upgrades of internal Windows Server operating systems with a strict zero-downtime objective. Network Architecture & Advanced Security: Direct network traffic utilizing deep knowledge of TCP/IP protocols. Configure robust cybersecurity policies via Fortigate / Check Point Firewall systems, monitor security logs continuously, and establish secure VPN access for authorized stakeholders. Access Security & Stakeholder Support: Enforce the institution's stringent authorization standards through Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) . Resolve IT requests for internal stakeholders and collaborating teams seamlessly, adhering to strict SLA metrics without compromising security protocols. Database & Business Continuity (Disaster Recovery): Oversee the performance optimization and daily administration of the institution's MS SQL Server databases. Manage multi-layered backup operations for critical institutional data and ensure secure, verified transfers to designated disaster recovery locations. Digital Projects & Application Integration: Provision isolated User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments for new internal applications. Audit the technical specifications of outsourced vendor projects and support the continuous improvement and deployment cycles of existing internal software (e.g., Visual.Net). Qualifications & Technical Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Technology is a must IT infrastructure and operations experience commensurate with the target tier: 2-5 years for Specialist System Infrastructure: Proven operational expertise with the Windows Server ecosystem and VMware virtualization technologies. Network & Security: Hands-on configuration experience with TCP/IP, Active Directory, GPO, Fortigate/Check Point Firewalls, Antivirus, and Anti-spam architectures. Database & Software: Administrative proficiency in MS SQL Server, coupled with a foundational understanding of programming or code-reading logic (e.g., Visual. Net). Language Skills: min. Upper-Intermediate English, capable of tracking global technology literature and communicating effectively with international technology providers. Competencies: Highly adaptable to the rigid compliance, ethical standards, and operational frameworks required by financial regulatory bodies.
