About XENTRON XENTRON is a VEESE brand developing production-grade vehicle telematics, diagnostics and embedded technologies. Our XEN ecosystem combines embedded hardware, vehicle communication, AI and DMS data to support smarter workshop and vehicle-service operations. We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Istanbul or İzmir. What We’re Looking For Minimum 7 years of professional embedded software development experience Strong Embedded C and bare-metal development experience Hands-on experience with MCU architectures such as ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V and Xtensa/Tensilica Strong experience with vendor SDKs, HAL/LL layers and embedded development toolchains Experience with development ecosystems from vendors such as STMicroelectronics, NXP and Espressif Strong knowledge of MCU peripherals, interrupts and DMA Strong understanding of bit/byte manipulation, masking, shifting, endianness, memory layout and binary protocol parsing Strong hands-on experience with RTOS , particularly Keil RTX and/or FreeRTOS Experience with CAN, CAN FD, UDS, DoIP and SAE J1939 Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, TCP and UDP Hands-on experience with LwIP Experience with embedded Ethernet and network debugging Knowledge of bootloaders, firmware update mechanisms, watchdogs and fault handling Hardware-level debugging experience using JTAG/SWD, logic analyzer and oscilloscope Experience with CI/CD, unit testing and embedded test automation Git-based development and code review experience Good written and spoken English Nice to Have Rust for embedded development , particularly no_std Familiarity with MISRA C and static analysis Experience with schematic review and PCB-level debugging Experience with Mentor Graphics PADS or similar hardware design tools What You’ll Do Design, develop and maintain firmware for production embedded systems Develop RTOS-based real-time applications Implement and maintain vehicle communication protocols Develop TCP/IP communication on embedded platforms Debug complex firmware, communication and hardware issues Improve the architecture, reliability and maintainability of existing Embedded C codebases Develop automated tests and improve embedded CI/CD processes Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage and reliability Work closely with hardware and other engineering teams Evaluate new MCU architectures, platforms and technologies for future products Evaluate Rust no_std for selected future modules What We Offer Hybrid working model — 60% remote / 40% on-site Opportunity to work from our Istanbul or İzmir engineering locations Competitive compensation and benefits Real production-grade products with end-to-end engineering ownership Challenging embedded, networking and vehicle communication problems Opportunity to work with global OEM ecosystems An experienced engineering team Opportunity to influence architecture, tooling and future technology choices Hiring Process Our hiring process is designed to be straightforward and engineering-focused: CV Review → Technical Interview → Team / Final Interview → Offer Technical interviews focus on real embedded engineering experience, problem-solving and system-level thinking rather than theoretical questions alone.
