Role Description The AI & Computer Vision Researcher will design, develop, and optimize algorithms for perception, recognition, and decision-making in robotic food delivery systems. Day-to-day work includes conducting applied research, building and evaluating computer vision models, analyzing data from sensors and cameras, and collaborating with engineering teams to integrate models into production-ready systems. The role involves prototyping, experimenting with new methods, improving accuracy and robustness, and documenting findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Istanbul, working closely with cross-functional teams to push the performance and reliability of OneSec’s AI-driven delivery platforms. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles. Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision methods for detection, tracking, and classification. Experience in Data Science and Statistics for experiment design, model evaluation, and performance analysis. Demonstrated Research skills, including problem formulation, literature review, experimentation, and publication or technical reporting. Proficiency with relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, C++/C, PyTorch or TensorFlow, OpenCV). Background in machine learning or deep learning applied to real-world sensor data, preferably in robotics or autonomous systems. Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related quantitative field. Ability to work on-site in Istanbul, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate complex concepts clearly.
